Maggie Q’s parents met while Maggie Q’s father was stationed in Vietnam during the war. Maggie Q grew up with four siblings. Maggie Q attended Mililani Waena Elementary School and Wheeler Intermediate School. Maggie Q also attended Mililani High School, where Maggie Q was on the cross country, track and field, and swim teams. Maggie Q won a title of senior year, and graduated from Mililani High School on 1997.
In her personal life, Maggie Q has been a vegetarian for many years, and was featured in two ads for PETA Asia-Pacific. Maggie Q was also responsible for the removal of all real fur from the wardrobe on the set of “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon”.
